GOODWILL MESSAGE FROM THE SOCIETY FOR ANIMAL RIGHTS PROTECTION AT 2024 WORLD PANGOLIN DAY CELEBRATION ORGANIZED BY PANGOLIN CONSERVATION GUILD HELD ON SATURDAY 17TH FEBRUARY, 2024 AT UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN, IBADAN
Pangolins are important in ecosystem services. Humans have, through their superiority complex, treated lower animals with disdain, without a thought of cascading negative effects on their own survival.
Therefore, all efforts must be on deck to prevent inhumanity to animal that could drive pangolins and other animals into extinction.
I strongly commend the Pangolin Conservation Guild, Nigeria, the organizer of this event, for their devotion to raising the bar of awareness and sensitization on this very important animal.
The Society for Animal Rights Protection, Nigeria promises to work more closely with PCG to achieve your lofty objectives and in the spirit of fulfilling the 2024 theme of the celebration, i.e. Unity for the Conservation of Pangolins: Working to Keep Pangolins in the Wild and Sustainable Development.
